Read and comment on some sample  paragraphs and revise them with the teacher’s guide.  2. Brainstorm the supporting details of “the  convenience of e-books” and complete the paragraph.  3. Appreciate the teacher’s version for  reference.  To lead students to focus on the four characteristics of supporting details  Practice (Group task)    1. Choose another Argument 1, brainstorm  the supporting details and write a complete paragraph.  2. Present their works and make peer  assessment based on the checklist (optional)  3. Appreciate a model essay.  To encourage students to practise using reasons, facts, examples, etc. to illustrate the arguments  To reflect on the basic characteristics and structure  Assignment  Write an argumentative essay in favor of “paper books” based on the new checklist.
