I think they are interesting/wonderful/boring……  能力目标  能谈论对不同类型的电视节目的看法与喜好。  情感目标 学会谈论流行文化,了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜好。引导学生们形成 正确的文化观念,培养学生们的跨文化意识,形成自己独立的个性。   教 材 分 析  教学重点  1) 学习掌握各类电视节目名称和重点句型: A: What do you think of game shows/news?  B: I like them/it. / I love them/it. / I don’t like them/it. / I can’t stand them/it. /I don’t mind  them/it.  I think they are/it is interesting/wonderful/OK/boring/terrible.  教学难点 1.学会询问他人对电视节目的观点并会正确表达自己的看法。  2.电视节目单数和复数的区分。    教 学 过 程    Step1. Lead-in.  Let’swatchavideo!  Let students enjoy the video clip of America’s got talent and ask them “What do you think of it?”  Step2. Presentation.  1.Let’slearnthenewwords!  show students pictures of some TV shows to learn the new words and know how to pronounce them. 2.Let’splaywordgames!  Play the gamesbomber games and magic eyes to ensure students have mastered all the TV shows and known how to pronounce them. 3.Let’s do 1a and 1b!  Step3. Practice.  1. Let’spracticetheconversation.  Guide students to express their opinions towards TV shows and work in pairs to practice the conversation.  A: what do you think of game shows?  B: I love/ like/ don’t mind /don’t like/ can’t stand them. A: what do you think of news?  B: I love/ like/ don’t mind /don’t like/ can’t stand it.  Step4. Chain work.    2  Do the chain work to ensure students have mastered the sentences by saying: A: What do you think of …?  B : I…them/it . What do you think of…? C: I…them/it . What do you think of…? D: I…them/it .  Step5. Let’s sing.  Let students clap and chant:  I love game shows, I like talk shows. I don't mind, I don't mind.  Talent shows, talent shows,talent shows,talent shows.  I love sports shows, I like sitcoms. I can't stand, I can't stand.  Soap operas, soap operas,soap operas,soap operas.
