教学内容分析：本节课是北师大版教材，七年级上初中部分第3单元的第一课，第三单元的话题为Home，本课是本单元的第一课，涉及的话题是物品的位置关系。本节课是一节阅读课，第一段写的是Jenny的房间很乱，物品排放的乱七八糟，妈妈要求她打扫房间。第二段写的是Jenny打扫房间后房间很整洁。物品都已经放到了合适的地方。学生情况分析：学生在本书小学部分学习过一些基本的方位介词如：on, under, in, between…and…和next to，同时，本单元后面三课已经讲完，所以，掌握好的同学，本课的新的介词in front of ,behind, beside, below,above都能理解。但是基础不好的同学还没有掌握这些介词的用法。本课的课后生词已经让学生提前预习过。但是，预习效果也因人而异，所以，学生之间的差距比较大，本课的设计理念就是想让不同层次的学生均有收获，让学生做到温故而知新。学生们对于房间的话题会比较感兴趣，因为与生活实际联系密切。学生已经学习过There be 句型，能用there be 句型来描述某地有某物。 2 教学阶段教师活动学生活动设置意图时间安排 Lead-in/ pre-reading 1. Are the students if they have their own rooms and what the things they have in their rooms. 2. Show the picture dictionary to teach new words about clothes and things. 3. Ask the students where the things are and let them answer questions with locations of the items by using prepositions. 4. Teach them some new prepositions. 5. Make students do some test to use the new prepositions. 1. Answer the teacher’s questions. 2. Learn some new words with the help of the picture dictionary. 3. Describe the locations of the things. 4. Learn some new prepositions. 5. Do some exercise to review the new words. 1.引入学生熟悉的话题。 2.图片字典学习一些新词，更加直观，所有词都保留在图片中，比逐一闪过更好，给了学生消化新知识的时间。 3.调查学生会用哪些介词来描述物品位置。 4.新增一些介词来描述位置关系。 5.运用新增加的介词来描述物品位置关系。学以致用。为的是冉时光学生更深入理解这几个词。承上启下。温故知新。 10’ While-reading 1. Introduce Jenny and Todd to the students. 2. Divide the students into 2 groups. Give them different reading materials. 3. Let Student A read Before and Student B read After. 4. Let the students stick the things in the right place in the room. They can draw some pictures if necessary. 5. Let the student exchange their paper and complete the table according to their partner’s paper. 6. Let them ask and answer questions to get the 1. Read Before or After. 2. Stick the things in the right place. 3. Exchange the paper with their partners. 4. Complete the table according to their partners ’paper. 5. Ask and answer questions about the information they don’t know to check their work. 6. Talk about Jenny’s room before or after she tidies up according to their partners’ paper. 1. 介绍主要人物，让学生们感到亲切。 2. 贴图片考察学生对文章的理解。信息差活动，是为了给学生创造一个真实的语言环境。带有任务去沟通。 3. 识别同伴的图片，来填写信息。识图考察的是运用。为了完成表 20’ 3 information they don’t know. 7. Let a few students to talk about Jenny’s room before and after she tidies up to check the answers together. 格有些问题必须要问明白，所以，就存在了真实的语言环境。真实地去交流。 4. 展示环节也是同时是核对答案。学生们会拿着同伴的图片去介绍。使用自己通过识图和提问来获取的信息。环环相扣。 Post -reading 1. Let the students listen to the tape to review the text. 2. Let students play a game called You Draw ,I Guess. 3. 4. Let the artist introduce his or her room. 5. Let the describer introduce his or her partner’s room. 1. Listen to the tape to review. 2. Play the game. 3. The artist has to introduce his or her room, and the describer has to introduce his or her partner’s room. 1. 听录音回顾课文进行复习。 2. 你画我猜。用大家熟悉的游戏来进行描述同伴的房间。联系现实生活。 3. 画家描述自己的画(房间)，另外一名孩子来描述同伴的房间。其实就是在进行转述。为的是练习第一人称与第三人称的变化。
